Teaching style: Classes are flow style. Hatha basic with combination of physical movement and breathing. Starting with relaxing poses and stretching for your spine, on to standing and balancing poses focusing on building concentration & core muscles. Finishing off with relaxing poses, after a strong and powerful ones, to settle your mind.
What poses do you always teach? Lunges
Favorite pose? Inversions
Least favorite? Boat pose
Favorite Tokyo neighborhood? Nakameguro. You can find amazing juice bar and lovely bakery:)
Favorite fruit? Pineapple, watermelon, strawberry, orange, peach, fig… I love fruits!
Favorite tunes for yoga? Hare Krishna by Krishna Das
What do you always do when you ride the train? Checking arrival time
Most embarrassing yoga moment? I was practicing forward bending and my friend gave me some adjustments and I was getting deeper, at that time “Oops, I farted!”
Interests outside of yoga? Love to enjoy activities in both of mountain side and sea side, reading, swimming, musicals, playing the piano
Special talent? I think I am good at schedule memorization
Hunter or gatherer? Basically plant-based person (but sometimes hunter)
What word do you always say or spell wrong? In my English instructions, feet/foot
