Teaching style? I like teaching yoga for body and mind, starting from Asana (body opening) to Pranayama (energy distribution) and meditation (balancing mind), and lastly sharing some of yogic philosophy.
What poses do you always teach? Sun Salutation
Favorite pose? Handstand
Least favorite pose? Bridge pose
Favorite Tokyo neighborhood? Yoyogi Park
Favorite fruit? Orange
Favorite tunes for yoga? Anything relaxing and mellow
What do you always do when you ride the train? I do not take trains but cycle everywhere. While I cycle, I listen to podcasts related to practical matters
Most embarrassing yoga moment? I do nose cleansing before Yoga practice including Jala neti (putting warm water into one nostril and out from the other nostril). During my Yoga practice at the studio, that water came out from my nose as it was not completely out.
Interests outside of yoga? Work. I am passionate about launching service, technologies and innovation good for people and the planet.
Special talent? I ran 75 km at a time and so maybe stamina and toughness.
Hunter or gatherer? In general, hunter
What word do you always say or spell wrong? Yoga Asana poses are hard to say correctly for me.
Anything else you want to add? As a Yogi, my yoga journey is on the way. Through it, it is amazing that we come across and inspire each other for the betterment of ourselves mentally and physically.
