Letter from Namita

March, 2024

Dear NYS Yogis,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. After a decade of shared growth, love, and practice, it is with mixed emotions that I share some personal news with you.

My family and I have made the decision to relocate to Kyoto this summer. Given the move, my last class will be May 28th.

My classes will be passed on to my lovely teammates:

Monday 7:30 →Yumi
Monday 16:00 →Tsubaki
Tuesday 18:00 →Tsubaki

I want to assure you that our yoga studio will continue to thrive under the capable hands of our dedicated instructors and staff. They share the same passion and commitment to fostering a supportive community that we've built together. The essence of our studio will remain unchanged.

I am not saying goodbye; instead, I see this as an expansion of our yoga family. I plan to visit regularly for special events, workshops, and retreats. These occasions will provide opportunities for us to reconnect, share our practice, and continue the yoga journey.

Plus, I will eventually be back! Tokyo will be my forever home.

For some of you, this news may come as a shock. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

With heartfelt gratitude and love,

Namita
