Chaturanga Dandasana

Can you hold Chaturanga for 5 breaths? Do you just make it a passing point in your flow?

Chaturanga Dandasana is not easy. Without the proper alignment, you could get injured pretty quickly.

In this workshop, we will be using a lot of props and using your body functionally in order for you to learn how to take Chaturanga correctly and safely.

 

Please note: 

At the studio, we will be using 2 blocks, belt, bolster, blanket and wall. If you are participating from home, please have these ready. Some alternatives may include, but not limited to

  • Towels

  • Pillows

  • Cushions

  • Blankets

  • Thick Books
