What is DOGA?
This is a yoga class with Buddies that will make you realize the various relationships between doing yoga with dogs.

Buddies by Carna

Buddies is a Rescue Dog Dispatch Company established in 2020 by Carna, a veterinarian.

Buddies is a dog dispatching company that hires shelter dogs with nowhere to go and bring them to places where the dog-lovers are. They are given plenty of love, treatment and training until they find a forever-house.

It is scientifically proved that spending time with dogs is effective for mental and physical health such as reducing depression and lowering blood pressure.

Interestingly and fortunately, dogs also experience benefits by reducing their stress levels.

However, 70% of dog lovers have given up on keeping dogs in Japan due to problems such as business or residence rules. On the other hand, it's said that more than 100,000 dogs and cats get euthanised every year because of the inhumane reasons or rules in Japan.

Buddies is trying to take on these problems both from the human side and dog side to make rescue dogs' life possible and people's life colorful.

Through this event can enjoy cuddling with dogs and support future rescue dogs at the same time!

Age: 5y/o+ (no upper limit as the class can be enjoyed by adults as well)

• Enjoy Doga with rescue dog.

• Learn about dogs from a veterinarian

• Learn about rescue dogs issues in Japan

• Enjoy snuggling rescue dogs (an adoptable dog will be participating)

• This class includes yoga practice and dog interaction, along with games and activities. We would be happy if we could help children grow up to be heart-rich and considerate young people. Also, enjoy `time for parent-child relationships' and `discovering new perspectives through interaction' through yoga time with your dog.
